I want to once again remind you of an ongoing problem and ask that all members cooperate in resolving it.

The problem is that some people and companies, who are not MIVNET members, are claiming that they are members.  Of course, they do this so that they can fraudulently obtain the MIVNET member-to-member discounts.

All of you are invested in MIVNET.  It hurts all of us if non-members can receive the benefits of membership without becoming members.  I remind you that the best way to prevent this type of fraud is to verify a claim of membership on the MIVNET website.  Don’t let people steal from you.  If they are not members, they should be paying your full rate. Lets all take the member authentication initiative.  PLEASE VERIFY MEMBERSHIP!

If you discover anybody misrepresenting themselves as MIVNET members, please contact us.  We will then take appropriate action to prevent further misrepresentations. If you have any questions about this, please let me know.
